Founded Focus Services Financiers inc. in 1998 following a brief but thrilling career in professional hockey. He was drafted in the 4th round in 1991 by the Montreal Canadiens and participated in 3 training camps with the hockey club.
On the academic side, he studied at Clarkson University in New York State before completing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance at Concordia University in Montreal. He completed a graduate diploma in taxation from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2006.
Sylvain Lapointe is an investment advisor affiliated with PEAK Securities Inc. He is also an independent financial security representative duly registered with the AMF. He completed the Quebec Institute of Financial Planning (IQPF) exam in 1999.
